Help!!!! Vg?

Help!!!! Vg?

i just recieved my cone air filter and MAS adapter in the mail and i got the top part of the stock air box off of the tube and now the tube is just chillin there and the cone fits on there fine but i cant figure out how to get the bottom part of the airbox and the tube that runs up to the driver side headlight does this whole assembly need to come out or can i just cut the bottom part of the airbox so the cone will sit in it probably a stupid question but i cant figure it out and the chilton manual is of no help right now

the chilton will help...

if you cant do this... you might want to hang up your wrenches for a while and read up a bit...

alright will look in the chiltons again i think i saw it once before but couldnt find it again i will go through it one more time i would have fiddled with it more tonight but i got work in the morning but thought if anyone would have suggestions that it would help a lot

the bottom half of the airbox will come out, just jiggle it from different directions, it'll slide out. its not really bolted in just slid on bolts. as for the other piping, just leave it, you have to take the fuse box out and all that to get to it.
