Finally, i got myself a 2002 SE with 34k miles...a lovely majestic blue ..and it is lovely, but i can't resist turning my head to any 3rd Gen i happen to meet.

I want to sell my 91 GXE as is: it has 470,000 kms (apprx 270,000 miles). it needs a bit of work at the front end. Engine and tranny are original (though it has some slippage, and needs to be checked out.

What would be a reasonable offer for it...mind you it is still vintage and has served me very well !!!

With it's mileage and slipping tranny you'll probably get at most 1500.

 

Take what a 91 GXE usually goes for in your local paper. Then minus about $800 or so to account for some of the future auto rebuild costs. That should put you right in there.

 

in a way, I'm happy you got a newer car. Sometimes, it's just the die-hard in me that wants to keep going even when common sense says I shouldn't. Plus it's cheaper for me to do that being a college student and all. Congrats on the new ride and may she give you another 235,000 miles
