Gauge Lights?

What bulbs can I replace the ones behind my Speedo & Tach with? I want them to be the same color, just brighter. There the stock '92 SE one's. Is there anyway I can run alittle higher wattage bulbs without any harness mods? How easy is it to put in LED's? Thanx Alot!

I just but regulare red 194s in mine and they seem plenty bright. The stock bulbs have a fubber sleeve over them and that dims alot of the light. But I don't have much experience in leds, hopefully craig will see this one(he is the master with all things electrical.)

...or you could just go to Schucks/Kragens/etc... and pick up some 194 bulbs.... in any color you want.

LED's are only good if they are NOT uni-directional.

I bought two, two packs of the white stocks (194's). How easy is it to take apart the dash? How many bulbs are needed for the Tach & Speedo?
