headlight switch

Hi, all.

My headlight/turn signal switch in 92 Maxima broke. I was wondering if I get a switch from an 89 model, it's the same generation so it should be the same?

thanks in advance

Can you give me any advice on where to get one?
I looked at some sites and cheapest I can find is 50-65$.
Ebay doesn't have them at the time.

thanks

oh, and also, do you know if any other nissan cars besides maxima have same kind of switch.
It's a pretty generic component after all.

it's not even remotely generic, it's part of the turn signal assembly
and unfortunately it's a pain to find aftermarket

Can somebody please help me to find out the part number for 92 maxima headlight switch? I looked through many websites, most don't have this part. but ones that do, don't have the number.
Didn't find anything on my broken one, maybe it got erased somehow.

thanks in advance

I think that could be store-specific.
I can't find this part by number in for, example, www.nissanpartsdistributor.com or other websites.

Also it gives the same part number sw2834 for years 89 and 92 that are supposed to be different.

I saw some other sites giving numbers like cs439 or cs582, they are not real part numbers.

25540-75L00 - is the part number for 90 model

My switch says NILES 14506, but that's not a part number either.

If you want the real part number, go to your local Nissan dealership and have them give you the part number.

I did, but they didn't give me the number, because they figured I wasn't about to buy it from them anyway
I'll try some others
