Climate control/blower motor?

My GXE is equipped with climate control, the problem I am experiencing is the climate control only works if the blower is set on the full blast setting...anyone have any ideas? a soldering fix perhaps???? hoping for a cheap fix on this one as well or I am gonna have to live with it...

Blower motor resistor behind the glovebox - get a new one and it should work normally again.

fairly common problem
you need to replace your 'fan control amp'

manual climate control have the same problem but the part is called blower motor resistor

Anyway, look at my page on auto climate control conversion and you'll see a pic of the fan control amp. It's located right behind the glove box and held in by two screws. Replace that and it'll fix it. (I just tested one for dkris42 last night )
