Manual swap q's

2 quick questions about the manual swap. First is what kind of fly wheel do i need? Can i just use my auto vg's or do i need to get another. The second question is, am i going to have any trouble with the ecu? The tranny and associated hardware is comming from a ve 5spd and going into an auto se

no, you cannot use your auto's flexplate (I think that's what they call the 'flywheel' in an auto). You'll need a flywheel from a VG since the bolt pattern is different for VE and VG.

no,you wont have problems with the ecu, Your stock (auto vg) ecu will work. or thats what i haven been told 800 million times. just make sure the tranny you get isnt broken... it will save u ALOT of heartake.. i know from experience...
