What's up everyone...

Just wanted to introduce myself as a new member. I'm Ben from Carrollton (North Dallas), Texas.

Tomorrow I will be buying my friend's dad's Black '90 Se Auto with 114K for $950.
It's cheap because the transmission is slipping or sticking so I have some work to to. I already read how to do the auto diagnostic, but any help would be appreciated.

It's got the spoiler, sunroof and white guages (love those @ night!). I plan on fixing all the little stuff, and then maybe some wheels, CAI and a few exhaust mods. Who knows later on. I'll never get to sleep tonight...

 

start researching and trying to dig up parts for a 5spd swap for the money you save on the car you should invest it in the 5spd i know some guys have done it for as little as 500 bucks youll be reall happy down the long run and there are plenty of guys who have done the swap on here that would be more than willing to help best thing to do is to start researching on google and going through the threads on here about the swap. That is just my suggestion as the vg auto tranny sucks as i know from expierence and i put a lot of money in my gxe only to now be selling it because i hate the tranny so much i had it rebuild for 1700 and i still will have problems once in a while. youll be very pleased with a 5spd especially because it will be paired up to an extremely reliable motor that has potential.
