check out my old max it took me about 6 hours and a lot of patience i just taped all around the trim and then completely covered the car and then sanded the trim down cleaned it with some degreaser then apllied a self etching primer about 4 coats then about 2 light coats and then 3 heavier coats of flat black enaml and havent had a chip looks good turned out perfect but now im selling it so all the hard work was for not
nope i think trying to switch it would end up being more of a hasly i personally dont know if the trim can be switched but even if you could sourceing up trim would be A hard to find B hard to find in good shape C hard to find all of the trim and D costly unless you found a complete donor car so you should find someone you know who has a garage and give them a few bucks to borow it for a few hours
so how did you do it do you have pics or can u explain. please email me at ishgotbike@gmail.com for loong explanation.
look at my post above its not a complicated procedure just time consuming basically tape off all the trim so just the trim is showing cover entire car you dont want over spray sand trim very well clean then self etching primer then flat black enamel let it sit a while pull tape up carefully so you dont pull up paint i didnt have any problem but you never know and then your done. Its real easy just have patients and a couple hours to spare. and dont forget the trim around the tails. look at my cardomain site
