VG ignition timing mapping/interaction details.

Is there anybody out there that can supply more accurate information re the ignition timing mapping as well as the influences and interaction of various sensors on the actual timing used by the ECU.

For example:

We all know the KS causes the ECU to retard the timing when knock is detected - but ...........

by how much?
in progressive steps?
for how long?
is timing again advanced when no knock is detected?
if so how soon?
in progressive steps?

The same sorta info is what I am looking for on the other sensors involved in the timing.

Diagrams/graphs would be ideal.......................
