How in da heck do I remove the rear seats?
I can't seem to pull the bottom part of the seats
up for some reason. Is there something I have to push
or something? I tried yanking as hard as i could...
nothing.

The rear seat is held in place my two metal "loops" that fit into plastic retainers. There is one near each passenger door. Pull up at each one to get the seat bottom out. The back of the seat has two metal "loops" These are screwed into the frame at the bottom of the seat. Take those out and push up to get the seat back loose.

I would highly recommend buying the Chilton's manual. The Haynes is nice, but they assume you are a complete idiot. The Chilton's has exploded diagrams for all of our body panels, seats, doors... It also has complete wiring diagrams of everything. A very good investment. Mine paid for itself when I overhauled my front brake calipers!

Can't seem to pull these out, that's my problem.
I yanked and yanked as hard as i could to pull
the loops out of the retainers but nothing happens.

I already have a Haynes Manual, but the thing is damn
near useless in the body/trim department and I don't
really want to spend anymore money to buy the Chiltons
considering the rest of the body/trim of my Max is pretty
straightforward.

I assumed the maxima rear seats came up the same way
as most other Nissans. I remember on the 4th gens
there's a latch you have to pull to get up the seat
bottoms, but I don't see any latch on our beautiful
3rd Gens.

I had to pull mine out last week to install my rear speakers. It took me awhile until I found a way. Just slip in a long screw driver between the U shape metal clip. (there are two as said b4). While you are pulling up the seat where the U shape clip is, pry out the clip with the screw driver. As long as u apply reasonable force, you won't be damaging anything.
