another junk yard find
well found a Automatic Climate Control in the boneyard sat and got most parts I could think of I needed and went back today for air mix motor and brackets and clips rods and spring. I was wondering if the 89 ACC is different from a 93 ACC cuz I got both door mix motors and there different. oh well time to start installing this stuff in so far got the aspirater and hose in. just need time to get in deep in doing it. Suprized to see not only one but two ACC there to bad its getting crushed this week.
I actually just noticed that same thing this weekend. I found a 89GXE with ACC and the air mix motor does seem to be slightly different. I dont think it has the linkage for the max cold rod IIRC. Not sure if it'd still work or not though. Also, on the older one, the spring isn't there either (I believe it pulls on that linkage too).

well thats ok cuz io grabbed both. Sat was a Grab A Thon $30 all u can carry. So I grabbed the ACC some new side defroster vents two auto amps except one has no LCD screen been ripped out and Z32TT guages (just found out guges are bigger than ours oh well collectable item) two air mix motors with brackets springs no screws all sensors. so far got hose aspirator into the heatercore. just getting everything together. gotta got to the shak in a few get some crimps and wire.
lets see. All ACC parts except the mix door motor w/ clips. (got that today 5$) 30$ and bought two soft doors for my friends jeep for 10 each sold em for 40 and gave me a free oil change and tranny flush with some fresh GL4. so 10$ for everything.
and the digi dash and HUD I have was free. was gonna take a VG ECU left inthe car and the MAF but didnt have my bag. oh and my friend bought a set of Z32 rims with good tires for 100 and gave me two and said dont need the tire so have fun. and CRaig thats exactly what it does I was going from the two ACC maxes to a SE just seeing what was different. theres like 8 maxes there no VE's 4 yrs seen 2 Autos. but they're moving and this place is closing this week and crushing everything. I could of got 16 Air bags for 100$ i could of made some money oh well.

nope only one had the dash and i got it im gonna get a piece of plexiglass since i dont have the lens. but im gonna tint the glass dark and get digital guges and get my ACC in so when the cars off everything is just black sceens. its gonna look awsome.
and im starting to miss my stock se guages. the dam digi guages use different sending unit and they crushed it with the tank at the junkyard
