Whats up people I just picked up (10) M1-208 filters for $6.50 a pop

They go for ~~$12 a pop plus tax normally.

They also give %25 off OEM parts!

For those of you who don't know about the Mobil 1 filter. It's pretty much the best you can buy over the counter. Most filters trap particles between 20 and 35 microns, while the mobil 1 filter is in the 10-12 micron range.

http://www.everythinginfiniti.com/

Their online setup for maxima parts is a little lean, but I'm sure ordering by phone will solve that.

I'm in no way indorsing this place, just passing the info along. I have limited experience with them thats been good so far. Although recently courtesyparts screwed up my order (100% their fault ), and I ended up waiting 3 weeks for them to fix it. This has happend more than once.

I figure 10 filter is about two years of oil changes

BTW, the filter is selected from the older Q45 on there site, for whatever reason it's not under maxima.

can these mobil 1 filters be used with regular motor oil, and not mobil 1 synthetic?
Will they still help?

Hey Eric, you rock.

I need to get front struts for my QX4 and it is a "dealer only" item. The only dealer in my state wants $150 each and that site has it for $74.99.

MrGone, they also have all four new VE engine mounts, too. I didn't know which one you needed...

Ya I know its cheaper. Its like $5 and the Mobil filter is usually $11. But is the Mobil filter a better filter than the Toyota and it is only a buck more it might be worth the extra buck. But if the Toyota filter is better than it aint worth it.

And my Toyota parts guy gave me attitude when I bought the filter. I gave him the part number but he didnt want to get it by my part number so he asked what car it is for. So I told him it is for a nissan and tried to explain but he didnt want to sell it to me. Then I told him I just wanted it for my collection of filter and I was just joking about using it on a Nissan so he finally gave it to me. But he wrote in the receipt that it was going to be used on a Nissan. I guess to proetect them if it would cause damage.

Anyway so I dont like him and if The Mobil one is better or just as good, I would use that one.

Yes, they are perfectly fine to use with regular oil. "still help"? Well no oil filter will fix your tick tick, when you buy an oil filter you want one with a high quality anti drainback valve, and the mobil 1 is the best there is.

What's up Joe, I finally got all the parts together to do the VTC job, I got a 12-ton shop press as well and have to test it out . I picked up new upper chain tensioners, since I still have a tick at idle when the vtc's are grounded. I don't know if I can make it to the meet, my max is DIRTY to say the least, I definitly want to see your brand new max .
