3th Gen Rpm's Hole /

undefinedundefinedundefinedWHILE DRIVING CAR RPM'S COAST SLOWLY DROP,THEN ALL OF SUDDEN PICK BACK UP AND SOME TIMES STUDDER THEN GO BACK TO NORMAL ????

after reading your post about 7 times....

i assume you're current w/ a tune up?
check the IACV....perhaps shoot some sea foam to clean out the carbon.

Got Tune Up ,four Way Plugs For Powwer And Still Does It !!??

i've encountered the same thing, so i can translate this a little better: 1st. i bet he's got an automatic. he's saying that while 'coasting' the rpm drop and there is a slight 'tug' as the car slows down, very subtle, often repetitive. a feeling like downshifting, but occurs in an automatic and ONLY while coasting.
iacv a good idea but, at least in my case, it only happens when the car is coasting between 25 mph and 45 mph or so and there is no gas being applied. the studder/drop never occurs any other time. i've had this for about a year and it never improves or gets worse so i've never tried to tackle it or bother anyone with it. it also happens only a few times a month... could be a symptom of the crappy trans.

Mine did that for a while, then i changed the timing belt and tensioer and never had that problem again. I run ngks too.

First Thanks For All The Great Info ... My Max Is A 92 With A 94 Engine 5 Spd SE Gold No Mods Yet But But Still Looking For Great Parts For This Later Model Max .this Problem Happen Be Before And After I Got Tune Up And It Makes No Diff What Gear Or Speed But Usely2, 3 Or 4 And I Also Have A Brand New Rebuildt Trany, Still Need Help Please Flod Me With Info Once Again Thanks : Docspeed ,max Nissan NINFO ...
