the wierdest thing

the army has kept me away from the org. for a hot minute, but i'm back....i like changes i see...anyhow....recently my car has been having an oil drip on the passenger side....before then, my vtc's would tick of course...they no longer tick...which is funny....i had the car looked at and was told that my valve cover gasket is causing the leak and that i also have a leak coming from my power steering pump seal....is there a write up someone can link me to for the gasket replacement?

Wouldn't you be able to see the oil leak if it were on the valve cover gasket? Check your crank pulley, there is an oil seal behind it that can leak, especially if you have the ASP UDP.

Look under the car and see if the altenator is soaked with oil, mine was, and while doing the head job I found the leaks. 1. Leaking from the timing chain cover. 2. small bolt on the chain cover was very loose.

well i took it to a shop and they showed me where the leak was...it was on the rear side of the valve cover that was leakin..when they showed it to me, i could see where the oil was leakin from there, but also when i would lift the hood, there would be oil in the space behind the anti freeze container...i still need a write up though!!
