Timing Belt Change Parts

The time has come to change the timing belt in the 91' Max. My question is, what else should I swap out while I've got it apart? It's got about 120k on the clock and is a 5spd.

Also, part numbers for the timing belt, ect, would really help out...

Best place to buy? Carparts.com?

Thanks in advance...

On stuff this important, I recommend you only buy from the dealer. since you're in Houston, I highly recommend Tom Peacock on north I-45 near B8.
281-230-4365. Ask for Ken Sanders. Tell him Matt Blehm sent you and he'll hook you up on the price.

don't bother with part numbers. they'll have the right parts.

stuff you need:
timing belt
t-belt tensioner
water pump (do it now, or do the entire t-belt job again in 6 months when the pump goes)
cam seals (2)
front crank seal
drive belts, if they haven't been changed in a while

I also HIGHLY recommend having a service manual on hand.

If you decide it's over your head, give me a call.
281-997-8635.
I'm about 1/3 the price of the dealer, and 1/2 price of a regular mechanic.
(and I know Maximas inside and out.)

If you do this yourself, be extremely careful and patient when removing your camshaft oil seals. If you scratch the cam, you will have an oil leak. Simple as that.

And for what it is worth, if I lived in Houston, I would have paid Matt to do the job.

Heads up Matt, you got about 412 pizzas and a few strippers on the way to your house.
