need some help with my 5 speed

need some help with my 5 speed

I pulled my tranny last night and found the input shaft bearing in pieces in the bottom of the tranny after i took the case apart so im wodering if anyone has a 5speed for sale that is in decent shape or were i can find a cheap overhaul kit for the tranny

yup, drivetrain.com is the way to go. before you order the parts check all of your bearings and make sure none of them are scored from the metal pieces going around in there.

in 2 trannies that i've dealt with the differential carrier bearings got scored so i had to replace those. also, don't forget to order the input shaft seal and the two axle seals to be on the safe side. be sure to measure all of the tolerances before putting it back together. i didn't give a care about measuring at the time and now my tranny whines as if i had a roots s/c on there

Well I did not rebuild mine( I dont think any one has) But dam it wines in first.
