are you sure you're getting power to the lights in the first place?

what he said

test and see that you're getting power before you jump to conclusions that all the bulbs are dead and you need a new setup...you could've snipped the wrong wire or something after your install

Actually, this is a good question, if indeed the bulbs are burned out. I am sure T93Max checked the fuses and connections, though, right?

I have a Stillen spoiler in my garage and three of the LEDs are burned out. My problem is the screws underneath are rusted and I can't get them out. Once I do, I will need to figure out what type of bulbs to replace them with. I was going to head down to Radio Shack and see if I could match them up, but if you find something more definitive, please post it.

i'm not axactly sure, but before, the brakelight works. i connected it using the brake wires in the trunk. i didn't even tamper with these wires while installing my sound system. the other brakelights still works though.

but while i was hooking up my new stereo and sound system (subs and amps too). i accidently cross the wrong wires at one point (there was a spark), and that burned some of the fuses. some of the interior lightning did not come on, but i fixed that though. i replaced the fuses and those lights works fine now except for the LED brakelight. i didn't run a fuse line for that brakelight therefore i believed i fried it. i'm gonna try testing it again. y'all think a D or AA duracell battery will lit it up??

it's set up for 12V...D or AA is 1.5V...you think it'll light up? it MIGHT*...but i doubt it. go pick up a volt meter and see if you get power from the 2 leads before you go crazy trying to find the light bar.

at first i though it was kinda fishy too cuz none of the LED lights comes on and there are a bunch of them in there. i thought to myself if i burned it, maybe only one or two aren't gonna lit. yeah, the stillen LED lights take a while to unscrew and you gotta use this small @SS crooked crew driver too.

i don't trust radio shack's bulbs man. i bought a few for some of the interior buttons inside the car but they fried again right after you turn them on. i say hit the junkyard.

c'mon man...unscrew the light...bring it to the front of the car...red to + black to - on the battery. if it lights then you know you have a wiring problem.

if it's dead then find a new light bar.

Also I just did a google search to come up with that. Do some more searching if this place doesnt have the right size.

Good luck finding a Stillen spoiler at a junkyard.

AWSM66, nice find on the site. I hadn't really checked around, because I still need to take it apart, have the scratches filled and then get the spoiler painted. It's kind of low on my list of things to do, I just thought if someone had the part number or knew the exact replacement, I could have referenced this thread later.

Technically, I found mine on ebay. Yeah, the car was a pile of junk...I don't think anyone else I can recall has found one cheap from a yard/ebay.

I found one at a junkyard months ago.. they musta known what it was cause the bastards wanted $175 for it.... when they probably didn't pay that much for the whole car.

Notice I said, "...found one cheap from a yard/ebay."

I wouldn't really consider $175 cheap. Mine was $50 shipped off of some car that was in a nasty accident. The guy had the whole car for $100 on ebay, so I made an offer on just the spoiler.

It's funny how unreliable pricing is at a lot of junkyards. The U-Pull-It chain in Portland now has a huge board with fixed pricing on their parts. Before, prices were made using the "eyeball it" method. If it looked expensive, charge more.
