engine swap

i'm sure this has been posted before......a zillion times prolly but i couldn't find it anywhere.......so please refrain from flaming me too much.....

I've heard that you can swap the engine from a 90 for the 92-94, can you or was i mistakin?? i would really like the extra horses from it without buying a new car and having to start all over again.....so if you could direct me to where i could find out how to do this, i'd appreciate it much!

You can do it, but the cost outweighs the benefits of doing it. You're going to spend quite a bit of money just for a few extra horses. Easier to get the JWT Stage 1 cams, intake, and headers with an upgraded exhaust.

yes they do.

Here is a place that sells them along with I believe Place Racing and WSP also makes one.

and you get the JWT cams from JWT or stillen and maybe even cattman.

Don't worry about it, we just love screwing with newer people. You can find the right connections to do it. But I have no idea who those are. I personally would just stick with the VG. Like aswm66 posted, they do make intakes for our car. In fact, Place and cattman are one of the best designs you can get. Cattman also offers JWT cams. Throw on a set of NGK wires and plugs, with WSP y-pipe and a free flowing exhaust, and you have yourself a lot of power.

I have driven one with a VE engine before, but I cannot compare it to mine, because it was having problems. I do know that I have beaten all the 3rd gen maximas around my area.
