i want to know what you guys have done to your max's to get down the 1/4 mile faster, w/out using nos or turbo/superchargers.
my only time of day (we got rained out) was 16.6 with a 1.2 reaction time on my stock (except for the cone intake) car with bad clutch. the prelude i was lined up against had a .8 second reaction and 16.1 sec 1/4 mile.
any info would be great.
- Chris G., i'm planning on a turbo install when my current engine blows up. hope your engine works.

Well...
you could do a search on here, but the basics are:
CAI, Y-ipie, full catback, hi-flow cat, ignition system, ECU, JWT cams, plenty of "custom" work and theres probably some stuff I forgot, but thats off the top of my head....

Working on the R/T helps too....
along with letting some air out of the front tires! Take the pressure down to like 26psi or so. And beware the water they put down, you may or may not need it. I know some of us on the forum can waste a set of tires on dry pavement! That's why I put my front mud flaps back on, kept getting hot rubber down the side of my car! The engine's gonna work by the way, I'm just stressing with finals comming up! I just noticed today why my car's been using oil, it's blowing out black smoke when it's cold. I thought I was gonna kill the guy I pulled out in front of today with smoke inhalation! Wheeeeeeeewwwwww!!!! Smell that? That's what happens when you redline at each gear shift! I'm planning on rebuilding it though when my shop opens next month!
