need parts for rear disc conversion

I've got 90% of the rear disc conversion done and I need a few things. 1- I need the banjo bolts for the brake line that go into the caliper. 2- I also need the ebrake cables and hardware. I also have a question to those who have done this before. Did the car seem to raise up in the rear after being done? I also put some KYB GR2's in at the same time and think it could possibly be from them. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I was thinking about the same conversion, I think the banjo's are only avaiblabe thrue dealer or junk yard. also I think auto zone sells the ebrake cables but dont know exactly how much. Was there any problem with the caliper and the caliper Braket fiting properly? did you have to machine some parts your self? There is a 91 SE by the junk yard I saw last tue when I picked up my taurus cup holders, if I stop by there again in a day or so Ill let you know if I find the Ebrake and Banjo Screws.

I believe that MizereeX has the whole conversion setup available.

Not sure if he'd separate just the parts you need, but can't hurt to ask.

I just took the rear strut assemblies off the GXE (w/ drums) and put on the SE strut assemblies (w/ discs) I didn't take the caliper mounting brackets off either. Did I miss something? Everything went back together just fine. Seems to sit up a lil higher in ther rear now though *shrugs*

your best bet is going to a junkyard and get entire and complete pair of sexy legs. it's a lot cheaper, effortless, and cost effective.

Ummm, those bolts NEW are only $2.60 each from the dealer..

Besides that, you get new ones in any stainless steel brake line kit..

$2.60 is discount price.. get it from nissanparts.cc, Dave B, Jerry Rome, etc etc.

List price is $3.47 each. discount price is 25% below that.

The $4.60 they're charging you is full list PLUS 25%.
lots of the so-called "wholesale dealers" will charge that much.. they take regular list price and call it "wholesale", then mark it up another 25% and call it retail price.

basically, go somewhere else. you're close enough to indianapolis that you should be able to find zillions of dealers...
