BAD Idle
So on top of getting everything from the window regulators to my shocks and springs replaced, I'm now face with a terrible terrible idle. It never seems to stay constant when i'm stopped and the engine has gotten to operating temp. It will idle around 700-750 rpm, then hit a spike where it'll drop next to nothing, shoot up to around 1300 rpm, then come back down to 750. I'm guessing MAF and injectors, but i don't wanna start throwing more money and have it not fixed. I've looked at all the other threads with stuff similar to this, but those guys never posted back as to whether or not thier problems were fixed. What's the best guess?

- Clean idle IACV assy & throttle assy, check all rubberhoses. (Total dead MAF makes ECU to safe mode 2200 rpm limit, more propable is TPS). Give cleaner for injectors; listen how they click.
- Those who give answers, most propably have lived thru... after having experienced similar problems. And got correction via mentioned repairs.

coil packs would be my first guess. After that, IACV, throttle position sensor, then injectors as a last choice. It is most common for the coil packs to go bad, crack and then spike so that the car can't keep a steady idle. Eventually, it will start to conk out.
There are a lot of possibilities, but those are places to start. I would also check your spark plugs. Be sure to use the proper NGK plugs. Coppers are fine, but if you have Bosch plugs you might be having spiking.
Maybe if your really nice, one of the NW guys like MrGone can help you out. He lives in Issaquah, but he has been really busy with his job, so he hasn't been post-whoring as much as he used to.

I was experiencing this same issue with my car. I was under the hood the other day and was looking at the small rubber hoses near my oil fill tube....one of them had come loose. When I pushed the hose back in place I immediately started idling at about 750 rpm and my car stopped dying at stoplights. Hope this helps.

Coilpacks are fine bcuz i had them changed about a month ago, spark plugs also changed at that time (To NGK's), and all filters have been changed out too.
I'll check IACV and throttle body sensor tomorrow
