help me

ok here we go i started my car and it made a real nasty sounding noise when i i turned the wheel. it has been doing this only when i first turn the car on and leave but after that it goes away?? can anyone tell me what this is? do i need new bushings? is so where is the best place to get a new set? thanks for your help.

describe the noise maybe the belt for the power steering

uhhh... it may be? but its when i turn the wheel, it makes like a high screeching noise like a water pump would make but i know its not the water pump.

iceman is right. Tighten or/and replace the belt, no big deal.

It wouldn't be a surprise in freezing conditions (like in canada lol) but it shouldn't be ur case.
What I would do ... take WD40 (or belt "dressing", which is even better) and spray on belts before u start the car. If it works - belts must be dirty (sand or whatever - u can live with that), if not - take it to the shop.
