Trunk lid opener

How would i go about fixing my maximas trunk opener that is inside the driver door? When i pull the lever nothing happens but when i push it the gas cover opens. Could it be tension wire problems? If there is a part i need i am probably going to a junk yard saturday for some parts for our Sentra and maybe some for the Maxima.

Anyone have ideas on fixing windshield wipers. On our Sentra the bars that connect to eachother have come appart and arent holding together anymore. Im gonna try hammering them together but does anyone else have suggestions? Its important to have wipers in Washington mainly because its always raining.

My guess is that the trunk manual release mechanism is on the "lock" position, thus it only allow opening of the trunk with the key, to find out where it is, open your trunk(put keys in your pocket right away or you're screwed) and right where the trunk locks make contacts, right above and behind the bumper a bit, there will be a slot with a switch inside, move it up or down(can't remember), basically just move it in the opposite direction that its in, play around with it a bit, just play with it and see if that fixes it.

As for your wipers, I have no idea what you're trying to describe, please clarify, and no, hammering is not recommended (crack winshield from shock of hammering, broken wiper retainer, or just plain old broken wiper drive shaft)

for the wipers. There are two bars. One bar is connected to the wipers and moves back and forth from the motion of the bar connected to the motor. The bar from the motor has come unhooked and when it is connected back it pops back from the pressure of moving the wipers. The grease that was holding the bars together is not holding it together. Does anyone have recommendations on how to fix it?

+100 points to disgruntled!!! Even nissan service does not know that...

--------------------------------------------------------

Grease lubricates, does not hold.

Most probably the plastic joint pieces are worn. Buy from nissan. Temporary help is to heat em' and then try to shrink the 'neck'.
