Does anyone know if I could put a muffler from a 2000 or 2001 muffler on my Max? I need to get the whole exhaust redone and I would LOVE to put one of those on to keep the 'factory' look and have a nice performing muffler too.
OR should I just get an aftermarket muffler?
Also...if you had to replace the whole exhaust, what would you put on or do to it?

yup, a few have done it...
it will definently be quieter than your standard "aftermarket" muffler so if you can find one for a decent price, go ahead. but if you "redo" the whole exhaust, get a 2.5" y-pipe(cattman, WSP, custom made) and larger 2.5" cat-piping and a high flow cat converter and you're done!
