I'm looking for a short throw shifter for my 1991 Maxima SE, and with all these products out there I wanted to know what would be the best one, I hate the standard shifter that comes with the maxima, its so long u could fly a flag off of it. I'm just lookin for a short throw shifter that looks nice and has a good feel, easy installation would be nice too. Lets hear it.

 

Stillen is the best quality (smoothest throws), but it is the most expensive and the shaft isn't much shorter than stock. The Pacesestter and SMC are nearly identical as far as I can tell, and at least the Pacesetter is adjustable and has a significantly shorter shaft than stock. The throws tend to be notchy, though.

 

SMC is adjustable aswell, kind of notchy though.

I would like to trade mine up for a stillen eventually.
