Battery relocation

Hey guys - long, long time no post. Been strapped for cash and time, but whatehs....

I was thinking about purchasing that trunk-battery kit both because I want some more room under the hood for future work, and weight distro. seems like it would be better with the battery in the trunk.

Who's done this? And should I put my money towards this, or towards something else at the time being? (for like an afternoon project)

well it sure does make changing the transmission easier

but it takes wieght off the front tires which isnt good for traction but since you have a vg auto traction shouldnt be a problem

I have mine in the trunk because I needed room for the turbo. I don’t think it is really worth putting the battery in the trunk unless you need the space.

yeap thats where mine is too but if somehow I could get it back under the hood I would.I cant catch any traction. But thats because of the beast that lies under the hood!
