who has rebuilt there manual tranny

who has rebuilt there manual tranny

have a question about the interlocking check *****, i need to know what order they go in on the syncro shafts, so any help would be appreiciated

looking at my FSM it looks as you install input shaft and mainshaft with 1st & 2nd shift fork assembly. then install first set of interlocking ***** and plunger than install 3rd & 4th shift fork and bracket, then install 3rd and 4th shift rod, stopper ring and retaining pin, then install rest of interlocking *****, install 5th shift fork and bracket then install shift rod stopper ring and retaining pin.

not to be an a$$, but if you're rebuilding a tranny, you might want to invest in a FSM

well in one of my haynes manual it has an exploded view of the transmission but i have found that some of the parts are not the same

I replaced all of the bearings, bearing races, bushings, and all of the interlocking check *****
