19 mpg city, good or bad?

This is the mileage I have been getting lately. I hardly ever have the chance to put it in 5th gear and on the backroads I drive to work and back, there is numerous traffic lights, slow cars, so my 22 mile commute takes me 50 minutes. I shift at 2,500 RPM also. Would this mpg rating be considered good for my driving?

Is the ride long enough for it to get to Norm. Op. temp.? From what I have read, the car runs quite rich until it gets to that point, since it holds the RPMs high for quite a while, and the Fuel map runs a little rich as it is. So in general I would expect fuel economy to be lower in general unless you are doing long trips.

Normal operating temperature is reached by the time I am on my 2nd mile of my 22 mile commute which takes me 50 minutes each way due to traffic lights, slow traffic, etc.

Should be decent mileage then. Check for gas leaks if you wish... Otherwise I doubt you have any trouble.
