Notes:
1) Do not to start seperate threads for the same problem.
2) You should NOT have trusted a Haynes manual for something as complicated as Nissan manual tranny. You should have used a Nissan FSM
3) Worst case, take the tranny back out (2 hours maybe) and had it over to a qualified tranny mechanic. Should only cost $400 at the most if the internals are all new. Just needs the correct reassembly.
4) You can drain the Amsoil back out and store it in the container it came in.

- Dealer $ hip: if I can, I'll never... I even suspect my dealer will refuse to sell. Maybe I try this time, I'll have to go there for auto tranny filter anyway...

- ebay: Isn't ? that the place where people send u a brick for 100$, nobody cares... Never bought there [overseas probl.] Pls. tell me how is it.

- Stickies: Well, spent one day a lot of time seeking, did not find. Maybe my too small helmet... Help appreciated...

- I have seen one place from australia, but really would like to have reference for a honest place...

Thanks

Damn, I didn't notice you were in Europe. Sorry about that. Maybe take a look in the for sale section and someone can ship it to you via DHL or Fed Ex international air freight. Good luck.

not an insult...but how are a few people on a forum know what YOU did in your garage when you did the rebuild? it's like me saying that i rebuilt my auto..but it doesn't shift to 3rd or something...ok now what?

we already had members telling you to get the FSM...i guess you felt that you were above that? i dunno...but it's really time to read the true bible of the 3rd gen and seek where you went wrong. not some blown up cheap diagram from a hayes or something like that. jeff92se also mentioned that you should maybe see professional help.

what does rebuilding manual trannies in the past have anything to do with this issue? a gearbox is a gearbox right? you messed up somewhere...doesn't matter you rebuilt 1000 trannies before..you mess up this one. if you have enough experience you would know what's blocking the tranny from going into the other gears.

take this with a grain of salt...don't get mad and rant to a forum that your rebuilt failed...just go back and do it again.

Thanks, Thats needed... cus I've a problem: They do not like me in my boat as I am the thinnest [not white hair] and with longest comfo horns inmy helmet (maxima, that is).

Now the HOT comfo -SCANDIC mixed breed- problem has following numerical values:
Nissan Maxima -93 -J30 3Liter V6 VG30E
First date of usage 3.4.93
typecode 5900151109
Tires 205/65R15
Model 4DMaxima-HLJ30GAEO/265 Engine 2.96L 125kW
JN100HJ30U00xxxxx
Engine S/N VG30 104592
Tranny type RE4F02A

Would these be right buy for that from books4cars.com, btw, does the first book contain the second?

1. 93 Maxima Shop Service Repair Manual by Nissan (93_2J3093) $89.95
2. 93 Maxima electrical wiring manual by Nissan (93_Max_Wire) $34.95

-------------------------------------------------------------------

I've found this, but as I told I would not like to buy something that is for kangaroos...

Maxima J30 1990-1995 Workshop Manual
http://www.marque.com.au/scripts/Boo...sp?Make=nissan
Engine: VG30E
Factory
Workshop Manual
SMOEOJ30GI
$149.00

Maxima J30 1990-1995 Workshop Manual - 1992 Supplement

i believe the FSM contains a good deal of wiring information that you don't need to get the wiring one.

Try ebay for the Factory service manual on disc , that is where I got mine for about $15 shipping included . It is a copy but it works great especially with a laptop . It has everything you need to know about our cars .
