What's that u-bolt thinger?

Looks like thats for the end of the pipe to use the stock cat hangers to support that end so it doesnt leak eh?

Look all the pics you want but in the end you just have to get in there and line everything up. Personally, I would have bought one for $160 or something. After you buy all the mandral pipe, flanges, decent flex and time cutting fitting, it will end up more expensive.

luckily I can look at a new stock one to save some cutting, but I'm trying to see what a local shop will do for me. they already did my cat back, and I'll get a cat at the same time as the "why" pipe.

you are definately correct, for most people it does come out more expensive.
but I'm not most people

I suppose, really I'm not sure. I think to use it I would have to take the rubber hangers off and put them on the clamp thing, then put them on the car again. I didn't use it because the y-pipe bolted to the stock bracket thing. I know Paul didn't either

My brother had his vg one done 2-3 years ago. But it cost about $200. I guess you could hack up a busted stock Y for the flanges and some pipe.
