Interior Console Cup Holders and Storage
Interior Console Cup Holders and Storage
I am glag I found this forum becuse this week I purchased a my first Maxima (1990) from a 92 year old lady who hated to sell a car she brought new in 1994. She only drove the car 51,000 miles in 14 years. I replaced all the original hoses, belts, struts and all pumps which were leaking. Now the car runs like new. I am use to having cup holder on a console and an arm rest for my right elbow. I have searched the internet for a custom console for this car but have had no luck. This is an intererior accessory I would like to install if one is available.
Thanks for any reposnes that lead me to this accessor if it exists.

Well as far as an armrest you can get one form a 92 up. It is bigger and you can actually use it for an arm rest.
for a cup holder the saab/ford taurus cup holders are really nice. They fit under the radio and pull out. Its not a direct bolt on and you have to align it corectly but it is really easy and works quite well.

Thanks for the information. I did a search and found on Ebay the cup/coin holder for the dash. This is for a SAAB 9000 and will cost me 21.99 plus 6.00 shipping. From what you said this should fit without bolts. I also assume these dash holders are the same for the majority of Saabs, including the 9000.

I am not sure about the different SAABs. I got mine from a junk yard out of a Taurus (exact same) for like $5 or so.
You have to use some different screws in there. I used some screws for a radio that were the pointy sheet metal looking screws (instead of the fine thread type) and it worked well.
