fuse help

fuse help

got my kid her 1st car-- '89. when she runs the night lights, the fuse for the dash & rear tail lamps quits after awhile. i know this obvious electrical, but any help to pinpoint this fuse replacement every day, would sure be appreciated. thanx in advance

you should be more clear on the problem....maybe it was replaced with a lower rated fuse....you could try a higher amp fuse but not too high since the fuse blows to protect the system from blowing good luck

check the rear lamps for shorts, rear lamp bulbs and sockets, rear license plate light for shorts, any newly installed car stereo headunits, etc.

yeah the right rear stoplight quit alot on my last max(92 gxe)i wiggle the wire close to the socket in the light plate and it worked for a while ..i see alot of gxe with bad rear light socket wires

it looks like the factory spliced in two extra sockets on the rear light plates
and they dont do very well maybe a re wire is needed

anyone else notice this????

If you still want nice fuse info, look in the stickies at FAQs. Then go to Craigs site. He has that info at the bottom. I believe under misc. It's nice to know.
