Weird Problem
did you ever noticed it doing it before? or did you just noticed it now?
If you just noticed it now, maybe its when you turn off your car, your key briefly went past the number 2 position, which basically lets you roll down your windows and what not without actually turning on the engine, at that position, the car also goes through a gauge bulb check to see if the bulbs are burnt (you the driver have to look to see if the bulbs are physically on) so as it briefly goes past that position the brake light will quickly flickers on and off. ( This is just my thought, don't take it word for word, and as brake is a safety issue, it would be wiser to do a total system check)
Another thing to check for is since the brake warning light system ties in with the ebrake handle (engaged Vs. not engaged), check the switch where the ebrake handle is at, to see if there is any loose connections, then check the sensor where the brake fluid reservoir to see if any connections is loose. Other than that, I again, recommend for a shop check.

Thanks for your help guys, but I don't think I gave enough info.
First off, I know the cars brake system and the fluid level. It's all fine. Everything is in order. I made sure little things like warning lights or low fluid were in check, before I made this post. The thing is, I didn't really wanna point any fingers but since there doesn't seem to be a simple solution to this, Im guessing I started to notice it flicker on when I would shut the car off after I had my alternator rebuilt the second time. Not first. Something theres gotta be interconnected or somethin, cause when my battery was low because of my bad alty, my battery warning light AND brake light would stay on and off. First time I got it rebuilt it was fine. But since I had a bad power steering leak going all over the alty for a long time, it went bad. And when it got rebuilt the second time.. shortly after I would notice the brake light flicker on for half a second while shutting the car off. It only flickers once.. So fast you would barely notice. Very weird. Hope thats enough info this time. Thanks.

I noticed last night my 91 Max does the same thing, but I'm not worried about it - It probably always did that and I never took the time to notice.
I think it is because when u turn the key back, you go back to that one spot (right before you would start the engine) where all the dashbaord lights come on - I think thats why the brake light lights up for that split second...I personally wouldn't sweat it...(unless of course it starts coming on randomly while you are in motion - then thats a problem!)P.S. As far as I know, my altenator is original, and as it stands now is in perfectly good condition - my battery is pretty new, got a brand new battery after I bought my Max 2 years ago...so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it - Maybe thats just what our cars do normally...???
