cold air intake

alright this has been pissing me off for a week, I got a cold air intake for my car for christmas. I have completely taken out my stock air intake and have put in the short ram and MAS, followed by the filter. My problem is that i can not figure out how to put on the arm part of the cold air intake, that bends, after the mass airflow sensor. Does it end up going around the battery to behind the headlight or does it go into the fender. Anyone that has pictures of their cold air intake, or knows how to install it please give me a write up. Thank you

What kind of CAI did you get? If you got one of the cheap ones off of ebay then I have a template that a friend of mine made. I think Craig is hosting it but I also have it. Since I dont have Craigs link then here is mine.

If it wasnt one of the cheap aluminum ones from ebay then dont use this template but one made for the brand you got.

unless you made it yourself it probably goes into the fender(which you will have to cut). here is a link to a pic of the cai i built http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/577227/5 , it does not require a cut to run in to the fender so i can't help you there but it does show generaly how the cai should be positioned, i think that was one of your questions. If this doesn't help i would suggest surfing cardomain to get some ideas.
