Where's the info: What has this box 'eaten'?

What can I see, is heater plus varistor plus ??. What is needed is component types, purchasing place? & schematics.

(To me it seems stupid to pay (in case of malfunction) hundreds of dollars for few ten cent components in a box.)

I believe Wiking is asking if anyone has info on the internal components(resistors, caps, or such) of the MAF. Or a blueprint of what is inside. Why buy it when you can build/repair it?-Basically. Hope I'm correct in the interpretation.

I certainly wouldn't want to buy a new one. Have you seen the prices?

get a used one in a junkyard and take it apart, measure the values and shop in the parts catalog...... i don't think there is any other way we can get that info, shy of Almighty Nissan rogue engineers giving us the blueprints....

I think you could get one fairly cheap here and have it shipped over.

That is why you don't take the screens off of them. I remember someone (Davebond ?) had a big old rock stuck in his MAF because there were no screens.

My 2nd screen is messed up :|

The first one near the air cleaner is still fine though.

It's a thin film resistor and a tungsten filament. The filament runs hot, as air is passed across it a voltage drop is measured across the resistor. The MAFS has four wires, 2 supplying + and - 12v, and the other two is a converted output signal for the ecu.

So basically an empty box with two 50c components. Cool. Wanna get in that business...

Has anybody bought these from electronics shop? ...howabout giving component types & shop name. Please.

Btw. Its not only expensive MAF ballerina, but its !ugly! orang...utang nose chokes off ten horses from my boat...
