just keep your original headlights, they look better anyway.

The E36 light conversion isnt too bad... you first need to figure out which e36s you want there are many styles to choose from... you can get them on the .org in the classified section, Ebay, or even BMW forums(cheap cuz they are upgrading to better lights). I went with the USDM style and it was pretty easy and self explanatory once I got the lights up next to the car... But there are some write ups if you cant figure it out... somebody else will have to post those... Oh and if you use the usdm you use the stock maxima headlight bracket...

Craig is your best bet on this. He has the whole write up on his website. I can't remember it for sure, and the stupid server over here blocks his site. It's in geocities, that's all I can remember

Difficulty depends on whether you use the USDM lights or the Euro spec lights.

havent really compared the maxima and e36 lgihts side by side, but is it possible to take off the maxima headlight glass cover and put it on the e36 housing so that the lights go along with the body? i kno ppl use the plastic covers from gts for maximas but havent really seen anyone use the idea of the maxima glass on e36 housing

people dont use the maxima glass because it's not clear so there would be no point
you wouldn't be able to see the BMW lights and they wouldn't project very well
