Saw these R32 lights on Ebay

Just wondering if you guys think it would be possible to fit these to my 3rd gen. And yes, I do know that almost any conversion like this takes a lot of time and work.

 

i think you would be better off buying a Center Console Gauge Cluster... JMHO....

Yeah, being able to monitor my stinking VE a little better might make it easier to fix the problems I'm having with it. Honestly, though, do you think the body lines would be close enough for the R32 headlights?

I think some of the 4th gen guys were putting them in their cars, but it didn't look very good IMHO.

 

Money, money, money...everything takes money, especially my Max. Just exploring some options here, the only headlight conversions I've seen here are either E36 or Cefiro, but I'd like to get in something from the Skyline family.

 

Since the lights are JDM... and they drive on the other side of the road... won't the lights be aimed in the wrong direction and upset oncomming drivers?

 

To hell with oncoming drivers. Not really, but I don't think it would be a problem. If there isn't enough room for adjustment within the housing, I could compensate during the fabrication of the mounts, to point them a little offset.

 

Speaking of JDM, did anyone catch those integra lights up for auction in the above link, they are the round ones that came on the American integra, yet they still claim they're JDM. Gotta love marketing!!!

 

Yeah, they don't look too "JDM" to me, either. You think that guy has some JDM headlights for my Chevy Blazer? Hah! Dumbass Ebay seller, misusing terms.

Yeah, what the hell is the deal with those? Does it just tell the ECU that the engine is at one temp. all the time?

 

/shrug I think its a bull**** scam, I don't think they work at all.

 

To me it seems like it just takes the place of your temp. sensor, and has a resistor that tells the ECU that the engine is at a certain temp., at which you'd be running an "optimal" air/fuel ratio. You would think that this would either f up something or set you up for disaster, not being able to monitor your engine temp. accurately.

yea you guys should see those ground kits and alla that junk on ebay that claims its JDM bmw/benz/audi/vw parts

 

ive never seen those on an r32!?!?
there's an r32 across the street from my work and it has projectors with a silver housing.
anyways,
it'll take a lot of work to fit them right and these don't look good at all anyways.
