in-line permanent fuel pressure guage. yes/no
not for a long time... not much here either, because it seems that instead of doing performance improvements, im just repairing... lol
but youll see me on tmec soon, i like knowing people nearby, it helps when looking for stuff ....
later
and thanks guys, im gonna put it after the filter like you did

FP would be a nice guage. Always a good idea. I would think after awhile, you would just ignore it though. If you are looking for guage ideas and don't have any yet, I'd recommend in the order of importance:
1) Oil pressure
2) Fuel pressure
3) Battery voltage?
If boosted, I think fuel pressure goes up to the top but one should def add, boost pressure and EGT guage.

I wouldn't have a fuel pressure guage on my dash just because there's about 5 other more useful guages I'd need first and then that's be information overkill. You onl really need guages that give you information that your engine is not about to wreck itself, so oil pressure, coolant temp are a given. I'd add oil temp, trans fluid temp (for autos), A/F ratio (for boosted engines), oil level (engine and trans).
Fuel pressure, trans pressure (for autos), O2 readout etc are good for diagnosis (why is my car not driving?), but they won't tell you anything that you don't already know (trans pressure low = slip, no drive), and NOT knowing that will not wreck your car (Temp is more important. Plus, smart folks stop driving when their trans starts wiggin' out). If I was gonna permanently install that stuff I'd put it under the hood. Information overkill PLUS less fluid lines going through the firewall (remote senders = teh win)
