hey i just did the ebiach/kyb-gr2 combo on my 90 gxe. the stance looks good, but i still have stock rims. i was thinkin of the 17 off of the 2000 max. the fit but i didnt know if i would have to go with a smaller tire b/c of rubbing issues. has any one out there done the same drop? and if so what rim and tire combos work well. mainly just lookin for a size of rim and tire prefferbly 17's. I cant spend 2 much.

 

that combo gave you better handling right? how much did that effect ride comfort?

 

you'll be fine running the 225/50/17 tires with your eibachs. i highly suggest you find a different tire than the potenza re92. it's a horrible tire and everyone complains about it.

 

I've got the same combo on my 1990 GXE (REPRZENT) and the handlign is MUCH better than stock. Ride is stiff but not too bad.

 

Can't you get some used Mustang wheels pretty cheap? I would think that might be more cost effective.

 

yea the ride quality is amazing, but i was also rollin around on a set of blown rear struts. so its like 200% better
