ok....I am fixing to race my cousin tonight in his 2000 BRAND NEW ACCORD VTEC. its a 4 cyl. one 2.3 liter 150 HP. *that's what the sticker said, but I don't know if that at the wheels or not*. He said that his car can take mine. I said HELL NO. so we decide to see for ourselves. I have 91 SE with air filter and a tranny cooler. So what are my chances here? and I need also some tips on launching...cause I rode in his car and I think the only thing he may have advantage over me is the launch. other than that my MAX with eat him.

I just took one by a length on the highway today, I stomped it and he never passed me! Sucka a$$ Accord!! but don't doubt it though, its not that much slower than your Max! and no the 150hp is not at the wheels! I'd guess 110-120 at the wheels for autos, 130+ for 5spds(just a guess though)......you should win by some, but unless you mess up he shouldn't beat you at all, if anything a close tie!
