ok check it out. one of the seals in my manual tranny has given out twice. the dealer is fixing it for the second time for free, cause they just fixed it a few months ago. if this happens again or something happens to the tranny, i heard that 3 times and it's a lemon, and Nissan gives you a new tranny. anyone else hear bout this? my buddy who's a nissan mechanic told me about it. let me know.

yeah, maybe if the car was brand new. But not on a 9 year old car with who knows how much use and abuse.

Do you still have your original axles? was the car EVER in a wreck, or run over a curb, or hit a large pothole?

Any of those causes can void the entire purpose of that, as it could have warped the tranny case, or it could be the axles themselves causing the leak.

don't waste your time screaming about lemon laws, and besides.. it's 5 times before they have to do anything, but in your case it won't work. Lemon laws were enacted for NEW cars with serious problems, not 9 yr old worn out cars.
