Weird problem wit my 91 max gxe

My windows don't roll down but whats funny bout this is it happens when its wet or after it has rained or snowed or any wet weather condition. Then like the day after or if it clears up and gets dry out they work fine. just recently like within the last 6 months or so my max has had this problem. What could be wrong?

The maxima door system is not hard wire electrical. Its electronics ctrl all over. Very small resistance changes in your oxidized connectors will cause weird acting.

All doors have switches on pcb's. Thus the doors are constantly supplied only with logic supply. As switch is pushed, it sends the ctrl logic a pulse to ask "whether today it would like to boot up tha windows, or will it first e-mail Gates license verification request..." The ctrl Logic actuates only that doors pwr (transistor?) that gave the request.

One possibility is IC -failure in the win logic box.

I found that very small load (or leak to gnd) (26mAmps) will debilitate rear windows from gettin service from the Logic...

See my led games. Clean con tacts...

1. You have water rollin down to some point of u system making short circ.

2. Critically flown, dried Glycol particles suck moist from air, goto 1. part b.

As I told u, its a system of myriad printed circuit boards, pcb's.

...Go to a car electronics repair shop

What he's saying is that moisture is causing a short, so you'll have to test and dig when you have the problem.

and Wiking unlike the rest of the world we don't really have specialized repair shops here in the good ol' US of As

- Rainwater in. And what trickling place that could be? Windshield edge? Rear door? ...not much, just few droplets condensing on critical place is enough.

- Secialists missing!? - Cannot be: u seem to have all, we got 90% taxes... But actually I have no experience on US repairshops: every time I've been drivin' there, left my own car at home for some reason...

Then the situation is real bad, where can one find a place to repair car computronics? (not the common electric sparks...) If such troubleshooting was done via the horrible FSM -charts, finding any fault would take days.

--->Btw, that is actually so at dealerships anyplace: the Hazard switch typically could be erroneusly pushed into ½-way position. Now here a local volvo head dealer service shop charged for 8 hours for troubleshooting that! (=blink does not work). With that investment u can buy one ol' volvo...
