Jeff...and others you`all were right.....

I pulled the fuel rail and found that I had damaged two of the injector Insulators ....so that was my problem. Changed the oil and there was probably 1 1/2 gal of gas in the engine
I hope Internetautopar has what I need......
Thanks to all....

Wow, was the engine ever running with that much gas in the oil? If so, then your engine is probably spotless . Hope you didn't ruin any bearings.......................................... .................................................. .......

The first time I ever seated a set of injectors, I found out the following time that I cut one o-ring. Fortunatly it was not enough for it to leak, I got lucky. One thing that should be done when installing injectors is to make sure there is no crud where the injector has to sit. I used acetone and q-tips to clean the rail seats.

hmmm I dont see how the insulators could cause the problem. I know the O rings will because like Jeff said it holds the gas back. The insulators I think is just for the injectors to sit in. I may be way off on this but dont think the insulators are responsible for holding any fuel back.

Also, two of the injector o-rings (the small one on the tip) looked worn. I must have put the rail in at a angle or something to tear up the insulators. I think they can cause a vacum leak though

hmm.... this sounds very, very familiar... oh yeah!

i had one injector seated improperly (first time i took one out and was the only one i took out). the engine actually hydrolocked and wouldn't start... i couldn't figure out what was going on and tried pull starting it... thank God for nissan's strong internals. i'm still amazed that i didn't snap a rod or something. (note: this was when i was still debugging the turbo setup and it had been about 6 months after i started so i was getting very short fused about the whole thing and basically lost any care about what happened to the thing... after finally getting it done i have much more care about it now )

when i went to drain the oil, it basically looked like black gasoline coming out. no viscosity whatsoever.

went back and seated it properly and haven't had a problem since.
