light problem

I turn my lights on and I notice that the headlights and fogs turn on fine, but my gauge lights don't come on as well as my heating and fan lights. However when I hit lock and unlock on my remote start the gauge lights and all the other lights flash like they are supposed to. Could it be a fuse?? Help!!

probably a fuse. The instrument cluster and brake light are on the same fuse I think as a safty feature (I read that on here the other day but havent experienced it). The reason it lights up with the alarm is because there is a wire going strait to the lights from the alarm itself. This wire is after the fuse so a blown fuse will not stop the alarm from flasing the instrument lights.

Check brake light fuse.
