Just a question, got my transmission replaced the other day (since my old one was fried) it works great gears change nice and all, but i noticed it has a 5th gear.. well it seems like it, anyway.. Is there such thing as a 5spd auto, and is there only one auto transmission compatible with the VG30E or are there a few, im pretty sure my old one was a RE4F02A, but not sure what the new one is.

the old tranny didn't seem to have a lockup clutch (it was stuffed anyway!)
saves more on fuel so i aint complaining.
So is the RE4F02 the only tranny that fits on the VG30E?
and the RE4F04 for the VE and so on...
