Limited Slip Differential???

I have a 1992 Maxima SE automatic..I am trying to replace the left cv joint and i need to know whether or not my car has LSD...
I do not have the owners manual, how do i find out or where do i look to get this information?

Thanks Marc

If you truely do have a 1992 Maxima SE, then you most likely have VLSD. But to be sure, look on the stamped metal plate on your firewall. Pop your hood, look on the driver's side part of the firewall and you'll find a plate stamped with a bunch of stuff. You should see "VE30DE" for the motor. And you should see "RE4F04V" for the transmission. If you see "RE4F04V", then you DO have VLSD (Viscous Limited Slip Differential). If you see "RE4F04A" or "RE4F02A", then you do NOT have VLSD. The V is for "VLSD" and the A is for "A very sucky transmission". HAHA J/K
