clunking noise

whenever I hit bumps while steering right there's a :clunk: coming from the drivers side, in the front. my first though was the steering joints (?) because I've tampered with them a couple of times and they don't look their best. but when I jack the car up and push and pull like crazy there's nothing loose or nothing that seems to be worn. guess I'm not strong enough

any idea of what it could be?

Hi there in putins kingdom! Youre already clunking FF?

Strut end ? nut loose, tightening helps a lot.

If the wheel is turned all the way and is against the turn stop when the noise happens, try putting some grease on the turn stop to relieve the friction.

hey, how's the winter cold over there? any frozen limbs?

I think you're right... I haven't checked that. that's about the only thing that it could be. oh well I'll check it in a couple of weeks when I get my rebuilt tranny back from the mech. hopefully I have my eibach kit then as well! =)

Been very mild so far. Today 'first' day under -10 at Helsinki... Me sittin in, very warm.

The shock end play does not have to be felt by hand, after tightening just the clunk sound vanishes. Had just inspection where the inspector said about the noise: not been really drivin at all on this current patchy snow =no noise in carage...

How much dinero is/was the eibach, shipped?

Check your sway bar end-link bushings.

They tend to wear out and then the end-link will be noisy at the control arm - metal to metal.
