yea million mile warranty...so basically lifetime but its probably for the original car it was installed in so if u sell it it wont transfere the warranty but i dont know for sure. I think if u install them now they should no doubt last you long enough so dont worry about that...lowering springs is my favorite upgrade so far in the car and i highly reccommend it.

While were on the topic of suspension I just gave Koni a call and they guy said that he's pretty sure the fronts can be modded for external adjusting but he's not sure on the rears. The price would be between 180-200 dollars per shock to have that done.

So externally-adjustable Konis would run you $900+. Yikes. I guess the Matts of the world would appreciate it though.

here are my thoughts on the suspension...... since the konis are just inserts and you have to modify the strut housing to make it work... are there any tokico illuminas that could be worked with to do the same? i've been thinking about the idea for a while but i'm not really sure where to start until i take apart a strut housing and get the measurements and such. any thoughts on this?

also... i actually know of another 3rd genner that has installed some agx's on his car. i believe he used some bmw ones and just had the upper mounts modified to bolt up. pretty sure he said the perch was the same. i saw them up close as i helped him put in a tranny but haven't really looked into it much more. any ideas on this one from the suspension guru's?

I've been running the Eibach pro kit springs and blue Tokico's for about 3 months now, and I have to say that I've been very happy with the performance of this setup. I just took a trip out in the mountains this weekend and it was an absolute pleasure to drive those winding roads - even on stock wheels with 215/60/15 tires. The only time my car will see a racetrack is from a paking lot, but I do enjoy some speedy on-road fun. The response and handling of this setup has been realy nice (hey, I know it's not a BMW and I don't kid myself that it is). Anything stiffer would just be brutal on rough interstates running in the 80's-90's - anyone driving I-20 from B'ham to Atlanta will definately know what I mean. That strech of road has found more rattles in my car than anything else. Anyway, I've been pleased with this investment, at about $550 self-installed it's money well spent.
