Just bought my 3rd generation last week, and it snowed a little Saturday. Got in the car and turned on the rear defroster; as of today, the button is stuck on. Any ideas on how to un-stick it?

Mine will do that on a really cold morning..Rake your fingernail across it kinda fast to get it back out.

 

Let the cabin warm up. It'll pop itself out.

BTW. Read the stickies I notice your a Newb. But before asking a question scan through them. I also suggest donating $20 so you can use the search function. It's very helpful.

 

One of mine did that all the time and I took it apart and shaved the insides. Careful though- all the pieces want to go all over.

 

LOL that's normal operation IMHO

 

Mine does that every morning and I just gently pop it back out with a quarter! lol When you turn it on, try to turn it on real fast and sometimes it won't get stuck.
