Random questions/ideas

Anyone cut a passway to the trunk? i took out that cardboard behind the arm rest and then all there is is the carpeting which is mounted on plastic or something, looks like a pretty easy project?

Custom rear ends?, instead of choppin off the plastic that stretches inbetween the tail lights, wut about tinting it with spray tint, or even spray painting it?

I took mine out, but then put it back. The metal bar looks kind of ghetto and I didn't want to take it out. Also, in the winter, my sub pushed cold air from the trunk into the cabin and it felt like a draft.

I took mine out and kept it out because i have some subs with a black light in the box, kinda ghetto i know, but once i get it wired up, which probably wont ever happen because im lazy, but if i ever do it should shine thru the car.

Stanza has rear folding seats which fit into maxima. Will do the day I find good set of seats.

Where'd you get THAT info from? I'm curious because I haven't heard that before. I would think that the Stanza seats wouldn't be wide enough - but that's just from a cursory, off-the-top-of-my-head thought.

I still wanna know what factual basis do you have for the Stanza seats...

The problem is 'Blue' ...bird.

I've got Nissan Bluebird 2.0SLX -89, 'last' carb model. What is that market model in US? Is it 2gen maxima or stanza or what?

Its has T12 chassis (equal to ? T11 or T72), the seats are the same as in 3gen maxima, BUT rear seats fold, and the opening structurally 'is the same'. Chassis 'inner core' is about the same as in maxima, with the opening to trunk...

I can seek for pic of that Bluebird (european model name). Have to download first on cardomain, takes some time. But nothin else to do right now...

Its rear end is structurally almost equal to 3gen maxima, except of course windows and outer metal parts. I have bluebird shocks at rear [needs shims], all axles bits seem like 3gen maxima. The shocks were 35$ ea compared to maximas 80 in here.

As the things stand like this, I've always ? wondered what is the BIG diffrence between these two cars: my 3gen is really on another, much better, orbit in handling. Only tire size? 14" vs my 15".

I have planned to go to a scrap yard when time arrives and my seats need replacement. Even the tweed fabric is better in that GLX model. Here the scrap yards have got so greedy that normally I do not want even to visit their places: just about any part u got cheaper, new from spare shop [NOT stealership].

I am pretty sure this chassis model exists in US with another name.

Dam I have to take a look for my self. Please correct me if im wrong, so any stanza from 86-89 has the same back seats set up as a 3rd gen max??

asuming we have to get the back seat sway bar from the stanza it should just bolt right up??

So what are you going to do with the plexi glass? I might want it. Can I take out the cardboard thing from inside the car? I have a heavy box in the trunk and don't want to move it?

I can say only of the vehicles I have right now; J30 & T12 Nissan's, their seats are interchangeable. I guess even 2002 model fits in the pic.

I have myself taken out rear/front seats from all those three for soundproofing. Each contain the idiotic rear rubber drums...
